Connect your broker API and configure thresholds for large lot detection and PCR alerts.

Broker API Connection

Connect your broker's API to pull live NSE F&O options chain data.

Select your broker. Each broker requires its own API credentials.

Your Zerodha (Kite Connect) API key. Found in your broker's developer console.

Daily access token generated after OAuth login. Expires at midnight IST — regenerate daily.

Access tokens are session-specific and expire at 00:00 IST. Do not share or commit to version control.

Alert Thresholds

Define when to flag large lot events, PCR extremes, and OI spikes.

Any single option write above this lot count will be flagged as a large lot event. Each NIFTY lot = 25 shares.

Alert fires when live PCR crosses above upper or below lower boundary. Helps catch sentiment extremes.

Trigger alerts when PCR moves outside these bounds. Current PCR: 1.24.

Flash Row on Alert

Briefly highlight the strike row in the OI table when a large lot event occurs at that strike. Helps eyes jump to the right row instantly.

Browser Desktop Notifications

Send OS-level notifications even when the FlowTracker tab is in the background. Requires browser permission.

Minimum time between repeat alerts for the same strike and condition. Prevents alert fatigue during high-activity periods.

NSE F&O Data Notes

OI data from broker APIs has a 3–5 minute lag from NSE exchange. For real-time institutional flow, consider a premium feed (Sensibull, OI Pulse).

Access tokens expire at midnight IST. Set a reminder to regenerate before 9:15 AM market open.
